Citizens' Voice, to the Government
Prastab empowers Nepali citizens to report issues, propose improvements, and hold local government authorities accountable — in their own language, at every level.
In Nepal's federal democratic republic, local government has unprecedented power to address citizens' everyday needs — roads, water, electricity, health, education. Yet the connection between citizens and these authorities remains fragile, often fragmented by language barriers, bureaucratic complexity, and lack of transparency.
Prastab (प्रस्ताब — meaning “proposal” or “submission” in Nepali) changes that. By providing a structured, publicly visible platform for civic issues, we ensure that every complaint is documented, every resolution is verified by the community, and every authority is held accountable.
From a pothole in Kathmandu to a water crisis in Karnali, Prastab gives every Nepali citizen an equal voice — regardless of their location, language, or political connections.
प्रतिवेदन
A citizen submits a civic issue with title, description, location (right down to the ward level), and category. Photos can be attached as evidence.
सामुदायिक मतदान
Other citizens upvote or downvote the issue. High-vote issues gain visibility and show collective urgency in your ward, municipality, and beyond.
समुदायले प्रमाणित
When a resolution is claimed, the local community votes on status. Community-approved resolutions are marked as truly resolved.
नेपालका लागि
Supports Nepal's 7-province federal structure. Every issue is mapped to Province → District → Municipality → Ward so residents see exactly where a problem is.
सामुदायिक प्रमाणीकरण
We don't take the government's word for it. Local citizens verify whether issues are truly resolved, preventing false closure and ensuring accountability.
सामूहिक आवाज
Individual complaints are often ignored. When 500 citizens upvote the same issue, it becomes impossible for authorities to dismiss.
