What is Shree?

Shree is Prastab's reputation score. You earn Shree by creating posts (+10), commenting (+5), and receiving upvotes on your content. Higher Shree signals that the community trusts your contributions. Early adopters (first 500 users) receive a bonus of 200 Shree.

How does post voting work?

Logged-in users can upvote or downvote any issue. Upvotes signal that an issue is important. Issues with more upvotes appear higher in the feed. Voting also earns Shree for the post author.

How does the community status lifecycle work?

Issues move through statuses: Open → In Progress → Claimed Resolved → Verified Resolved. Community members vote to advance the status. For example, 3 "support" votes (with 60% approval) move an issue from Open to In Progress. 5 votes (with 70% approval) are needed to verify a resolution. Authors cannot vote on their own posts.

When an issue is in "Claimed Resolved" status, community members can oppose the claim. If 3 or more members oppose (with 60% of total votes), the issue reverts back to "In Progress." This prevents premature or false resolution claims.

Issues are resolved entirely through community consensus. When enough community members vote to advance an issue's status, it moves forward automatically. The final step — "Verified Resolved" — requires 5 votes with 70% approval, ensuring the community genuinely agrees the issue is fixed.

Community verification is Prastab's key feature. Instead of relying on a single claim that an issue is fixed, the local community votes on whether the resolution is real. Only after sufficient community approval does an issue reach "Verified Resolved" status.

What if a resolution claim is false?

If the community disagrees with a resolution claim, they can vote to oppose it. If enough opposition votes accumulate, the issue automatically reverts to "In Progress" and the community can continue tracking it.

How do I report abuse or inappropriate content?

Every post has a report button (flag icon). Click it and select the reason (spam, false information, duplicate, offensive, etc.). Reports are reviewed and acted upon.
